Karinkuzhi (Kari = Char, Kuzhi = Pit, The name is originated from a story about ' Daksha' 'The Emperor' and Lord Shiva. ) is a village located on the southern side of Karinkuzhi river on the Vellur-Padiyottuchal-Pulingome road in Kannur District, Kerala, in India.
