Karimnagar is a city in Karimnagar district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is a municipal corporation and the administrative headquarters of Karimnagar district. It lies on the banks of Manair River, which is a tributary of the Godavari River. It is the fourth most populous and fourth largest city in terms of area in the state. It is also listed as one of the 100 cities for the Smart Cities Mission.
Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 17 Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) constituencies in Telangana state in southern India.
