Kallakurichi is a municipality of Viluppuram district, Tamil Nadu, India and a Parliamentary consistency in Tamil Nadu. As of 2011, the town had a population of 52,507.
Kallakurichi (State Assembly Constituency)
Kallakurichi is a state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. It was in existence from 1951 to1971 state elections. It was converted into Chinna Salem constituency (Chinnasalem - A rice mill hub of Tamil Nadu) in 1977 election. It came into existence again for 2011 election following the reorganisation of constituencies in 2009.

Kallakurichi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 39 Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu state in southern India. This constituency came into existence following the implementation of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies in 2008.
