What is "kakkakuyil"

Kakkakuyil is a 2001 Malayalam comedy film produced, written, and directed by Priyadarshan starring Mohanlal and Mukesh in the lead roles. The film received mixed reviews upon release. Kakkakuyil was later remade as London in Tamil with Prashanth and Thappuchesi Pappukoodu in Telugu with Mohan Babu by different directors.The story of the film is adapted from the 1988 English film A Fish Called Wanda and the comedy sequences involving the blind couple from the Gujarati play Aaflatoon by Mihir Bhuta which itself was adapted from Harsh Shivsharan's original Marathi play Ghar-Ghar. These sequences went to be used in the 2006 Hindi movie Golmaal.
