What is "kaijin"

The Kaijin (海人, literally meaning "Sea Man") is a cryptid, an alleged sea monster living in Japan. It is mentioned in the books of the Edo period.

The Japanese language word kaijin generally refers to humanoid kaiju found in tokusatsu, and is literally translated as "strange person". It may also refer to:
