Kaidan
Kaidan (怪談) (sometimes transliterated kwaidan) is a Japanese word consisting of two kanji: 怪 (kai) meaning “strange, mysterious, rare or bewitching apparition" and 談 (dan) meaning “talk” or “recited narrative.”
Kaidan (2007 film)
is a 2007 Japanese horror film, directed by Hideo Nakata, of two young people who fall in love but are hounded by the ghost of a murdered moneylender who seeks revenge, which leaves a lasting effect on the couple.
