Kaadu is a 1973 Kannada language black-and-white film directed by Girish Karnad, based on a novel of the same name by Srikrishna Alanahalli, and starring Master G. S. Nataraj, Amrish Puri and Nandini Bhaktavatsala in the lead roles. The film three awards at the 21st National Film Awards.

Kaadu or The Jungle is a 1952 Tamil- American science fiction film directed by William Berke. Mr. T.R. Sundaram ( The Modern Theatres Ltd ) & William Berke Production. It stars Rod Cameron, Cesar Romero, Marie Windsor and M.N. Nambiar in lead roles. The film was the first science fiction film in India. Kaadu was released on 1 August 1952.

Kaadu is a 1973 Indian Malayalam film, directed by P. Subramaniam. The film stars Madhu, Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair, Shanthi and Anandan in lead roles. The film had musical score by Vedpal Verma. This movie simultaneously made in Tamil as " Malai Naattu Mangai", with Gemini Ganesan, SasiKumar, Cho and C. L. Anandan in same role, what he did in Malayalam version.
