K.Varalakshmi
K. Varalakshmi (; born 24 October 1948) is a well known Telugu short story writer. She is born in Jaggampeta, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. She is the eldest daughter of Palla Venkata Ramana and Bangaramma. She is married to Kala Ramamohana Rao in 1964. Most of her writings addresses the women of rural areas. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh state in India,she influenced younger generations with her socially reformed writings.She successfully bridges the idealistic and the popular styles of literature.
