Johan is the debut album by the Dutch band Johan. It was released on November 4, 1996 by the record label Excelsior Recordings. The album was produced by Frans Hagenaars.

The album was released in the US in June 1997 by the record label SpinArt.

Johan (Archbishop of Uppsala)

Johan was the Bishop of Turku from 1286 to 1290 and Archbishop of Uppsala from 1290 to 1291. He was Polish by birth. Before his assignment to Turku, he worked as the prior at the Sigtuna monastery. He died in Avignon while travelling to Rome to receive the pallium.

Johan (film)

Johan, also known as Troubled Waters or Rapids of Life, is a 1921 Swedish film directed by Mauritz Stiller, based on the 1911 novel Johan (Juha) by Juhani Aho. It tells the story of a young girl, married to an older farmer, who elopes with a handsome stranger, crossing dangerous rapids on a small boat in the process.
