Wikipedia Jian'ou Jian'ou is a county-level city of Nanping in the north of Fujian province, China. Jian'ou is within a major rice-growing area. It is located on the Jianxi (建溪) Brook, about south from Jianyang. It is famous as the producing area of bamboo.
