Jayaprabha
Jayaprabha (born 1957) is an Indian poet and feminist, writing in Telugu.
She gained her Ph.D. on modern Telugu drama from Osmania University in 1991.
She has published seven volumes of poetry and also several texts of literary criticism. A selection of love poems has been translated into English by P. V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India in the volume Unforeseen Affection (Penguin, 2005). Her poetry has also widely anthologized, both in Telugu and in English.
