Iyyapanthangal is a town (Panchayat Village) in the Kundrathur Panchayat Union of Sriperumbudur taluk in the Kancheepuram District of Tamil Nadu, India. It is located from Fort St George on the Mount-Poonamallee Road and is a suburb of Chennai. The nearest railway stations are at Guindy (Chennai South Line) about away and Avadi (Chennai West Line) about away. The town borders the Tiruvallur district. The famous Porur Junction is just 2.5 km from Iyyapanthangal and the famous Poonamallee Junction is just 2 km from the town.
