Istradefylline (KW-6002) is a selective antagonist at the A receptor. It has been found to be useful in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. Istradefylline reduces dyskinesia resulting from long-term treatment with classical antiparkinson drugs such as levodopa. Istradefylline is an analog of caffeine.
