IOGT-NTO
IOGT-NTO is a Swedish temperance movement, the Swedish branch of IOGT International. IOGT-NTO has about 45,000 members. IOGT-NTO has also a junior organisation, Junis.
IOGT was established in Sweden on November 5, 1879. IOGT-NTO of today was formed in 1970 through the merger of the Swedish IOGT with Nationaltemplarorden (NTO), a Christian Swedish temperance organization. NTO in turn was formed in 1922 through the merger of Nationalgodtemplarorden (NGTO) and Templarorden (TO).
