Inisheer
Inisheer (, the island's official name, , meaning "east island", and traditionally , meaning "rear island") is the smallest and most eastern of the three Aran Islands in Galway Bay, Ireland. Inisheer has a population of about 250 (249 according to 2011 census), making it the second smallest of the Aran Islands in terms of population. Caomhán of Inisheer is the island's patron saint.
