Ildico
Ildikó (flourished in 5th century AD) was the last wife of the Hunnic ruler Attila. Her name is East Germanic and suggests a Gothic origin. According to Priscus, Attila died in the feast celebrating their marriage in 453 AD, in which he suffered a severe nosebleed and choked to death in a stupor.
It has been speculated that Ildico may have killed Attila, and she was killed by Attila's soldiers for this reason. Because of the Huns' ruthlessness for traitors, murder is considered unlikely, and Attila may simply have died from over drinking during the feast.
The murder version of the story may have inspirited the murder scene in A Song of Ice and Fire: A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin.
