I Miss You (Blink-182 song)

"I Miss You" is a song by American rock band Blink-182, released on February 9, 2004 as the second single from the group's fifth studio album, Blink-182 (2003). Co-written by guitarist Tom DeLonge and bassist Mark Hoppus, they employed a method of writing separately and bringing their two verses together later. The song, produced entirely acoustic, features an acoustic electric bass, a cello, and a brushstroked drum loop. The song was inspired by The Cure song " The Love Cats" and contains references to The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).

The song peaked at number one on Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the United Kingdom, the song was a national top 10 hit on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number eight. Although " All the Small Things" had slightly more radio airplay, "I Miss You" sold more singles, earning gold certification for selling over 500,000 copies.

is Misia's 8th and last single with Arista Japan. It was released on 1 January 2001 under the name of "Misia+DCT". It peaked at #3 selling 224,740 copies on its first week. The song is a duet between Misia and Dreams Come True vocalist, Miwa Yoshida. Misia penned the lyrics and composed the melody alongside DCT band member, Masato Nakamura.

I Miss You (reissued aka Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes) is the debut album released by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes on the Philadelphia International record label in August 1972. It was produced by Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff.

The album title was changed from I Miss You to Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes and given a new cover after the success of the single " If You Don't Know Me by Now". The group's roster for this album is Lloyd Parks, Teddy Pendergrass, Harold Melvin, Lawrence Brown and Bernie Wilson. The album was arranged by Bobby Martin, Norman Harris and Thom Bell.

The album was remastered and reissued in 2003 by Sony Music Entertainment with a bonus track, a live 1973 recording of "If You Don't Know Me by Now".

The single "I Miss You" was featured in the film Dead Presidents.
