"I Do" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian, originally released as a single by American vocal group the Castells in March 1964. The recording was also produced and arranged by Wilson. The song's lyrics illustrate a young man getting ready for marriage. Its melody was derived from " County Fair", a song Wilson had earlier written for the Beach Boys.
According to Keith Mansfield, "the song didn't do much for the Castells, but it was a memorable experience [for Chuck Girard]". Musicologist Philip Lambert noted: "The 'I Do' intro is directly inspired by the instrumental accumulation in ' Be My Baby' and in the earlier [[Phil Spector|[Phil] Spector]] production of the Crystals' ' Oh Yeah Maybe Baby' (1961), which have similar rhythms and instrumental combinations."
After the huge success of the single It's Raining, Bi released a much calmer up-tempo ballad entitled, "I Do". The lyrics talk about how he pledges to be the very best for his lover. This single was the Korean singer's second big hit in Asia.

"I Do" is the second single from British R&B artist Jamelia. "I Do" was the first single from her debut album Drama and was her first UK top 40 hit, peaking at #36 on the UK Singles Chart. The Spanish Mix has Slum Village rapping on it as well as a UK rapper named Dubwise (Junior Williams). The track was originally remixed with only Dubwise rapping. Although Dubwise's rap was great, he was largely unknown. So it was suggested that an American rap group may help to further the success of the single. So Slum Village was chosen to rap on it. After they heard Dubwise's rap, they suggested that at least one of his verses should remain, in respect of his efforts. Dubwise's verse appears in between two members of Slum Village's raps, near the end of the track and begins with "now if you really wanna score.........."

"I Do" is the sixth episode of the third season of Lost, and the 55th episode overall. It aired on November 8, 2006, on ABC. The episode was written by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and directed by Tucker Gates. The character of Kate Austen ( Evangeline Lilly) is featured in the episode's flashbacks, where her brief marriage to a police officer, Kevin Callis ( Nathan Fillion), is shown. In the present events, Jack Shephard ( Matthew Fox) considers whether or not to perform surgery on Ben Linus ( Michael Emerson), and is motivated by Kate's claims that if he does not comply, Sawyer ( Josh Holloway) will be killed.
This was the last episode to air before a 13-week hiatus, so it was written so that it would fit as a "mini- series finale", and also had a major theme in the contrast between Kate's relationships with Kevin and Sawyer. "I Do" gained mostly positive reviews, with much praise to the cliffhanger ending, and had 17.15 million American viewers upon release.
"I Do" was the Maltese entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, performed in English by Fabrizio Faniello.
The song is an up-tempo number, in which Faniello tells his lover that "I love you like a fool", despite the fact that their relationship has ostensibly ended. He tells her that "I won't give you up, I'll never stop" and that he is "Waiting for the day when I hear you say/Our love is here to stay".
The video plays up this angle further, as it features a split-screen story in which Faniello and his former lover going through their day and doing much the same thing at much the same time while coming to the realisation that their relationship should not have ended. They both leave their houses to see each other, only to arrive at each other's now-empty house. Disconsolate, they both sit down and attempt to call each other and receive no answer. Faniello then throws his phone down beside him, only for it to hit his former lover - which results in the split screen breaking and the pair reuniting.
As Malta had finished the 2005 Contest in second place, the song was pre-qualified for the final. Here, it was performed seventh, following Spain's Las Ketchup with " Un Blodymary" and preceding Germany's Texas Lightning with " No No Never". At the close of voting, it had received 1 point (from Albania), placing 24th (last) in a field of 24 and thus requiring Malta to qualify through the semi-final at their next Contest appearance. Reports also surfaced of tensions between members of the Maltese delegation on the flight back to Valletta.
The poor result is claimed to be as a result of the performance, in which Faniello and his backing vocalist ( Alexandros Panayi) appeared to sing in different keys and frequently miss notes.
South African boy band Hi-5 recorded an Afrikaans cover of the song, titled "Vergewe My Weer".
It was succeeded as Maltese representative at the 2007 Contest by Olivia Lewis with " Vertigo".
