Hypocycloid \Hy`po*cy"cloid\, n. [Pref. hypo- + cycloid: cf. F. hypocyclo["i]de.] (Geom.) A curve traced by a point in the circumference of a circle which rolls on the concave side in the fixed circle. Cf. Epicycloid, and Trochoid.
