What is "humjoli"

Humjoli is a 1970 Bollywood drama film, produced by Prasan Kapoor on Tirupati Pictures banner and directed by T. R. Ramanna. The film stars Jeetendra, Leena Chandavarkar in the lead roles and music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is the remake of Tamil Movie Panakkara Kudumbam (1964), starring M.G.R, B. Saroja Devi which later went on to be remade in Kannada as Bhale Huduga(1978) starring Vishnuvardhan , Manjula and Dwarakish and in Telugu as Intiguttu (1984), starring Chiranjeevi, Nalini in pivotal roles.

Mehmood essayed a triple role in this movie which was essayed by Nagesh in the Tamil version and Dwarakish in the Kannada version Bhale Huduga.Later on , the dual roles played by Nagesh in Anubavi Raja Anubavi went on to be essayed by Mehmood in Hindi version ( Do Phool) and Dwarakish in Kannada version ( Kittu Puttu).
