Bulleribock

Bulleribock or bulleri bock is a Swedish children's guessing game for two people.

The game is played as follows: person A turns his back to person B, who taps both hands rhythmically on A's back while saying a rhythmic, rhymed chant: Bulleri, bulleri bock, hur många horn står opp? (lit. bulleri, bulleri billy goat, how many horns are standing up?). B then stops drumming, but keeps some of his fingertips on A:s back. A then guesses how many fingers are pressed against his back. B responds with a chant corresponding to the right or the wrong answer, and the persons switch roles.

Bulleribock was described in Nordlander (1886) where a number of slightly different varieties of the chant from different parts of Sweden and Swedish-speaking Finland were attested. It is still a popular game among young children in Sweden.

And then after about 20 years or so, they could put it down that Miss Isaac had got a boy -- the boy, probably bein' a married man himself and a father when the news of his birth wuz set down.

Isaac had moved from the Bucoleon to the Blachernae palace, at the far northern tip of the city.

On Friday they switched arenas, and it was Isaac working in the rafter-dome while she attacked the units, and since there was no painting, there was no need for a walk, and since it was pouring with rain they said it was a blessing, and since Isaac was racing against time to get the heaters connected and installed he ate while he worked, and so did she.

It was dark on the landing, and she had to open the door to gain enough light and to get to the edges, but Isaac worked solidly anyway, not speaking, just chipping out more grooves, running cables, edging past her as he came through the doorway, and on up the ladder into the loft, drilling holes through all the ceilings, and along the rafters in the large room for the cables to feed through.

Here was Darwin who revolutionised zoology, and here was Isaac Newton who gave a new direction to astronomy.

Isaac Watts, found in many of the southern country songbooks of the ante bellum period.

Sir Isaac survives in the garden at Cranbury Park, viz. a sun-dial, said to have been calculated by Newton.

It was Isaac, grinning at her apologetically, his yellow waterproofs gleaming in the sun, which she had failed to notice.

Until it was learned that Isaac had moved from the Bucoleon to the Blachernae palace, at the far northern tip of the city.

Incensed, Morganthal canceled his afternoon meetings and hustled over to 500 Indiana, arriving just as Cedric Hyde led Gregory Campisi, Sally Pong, Ginny Toledo, and Isaac Brown to the second-floor conference room.

Watson so cocksure as that, Isaac Yeomans coughs and spits, maybe more loud and disgusted than we might have wanted.

Whether Isaac, as Zosimos's necromancy asserted, had long been preparing his coup, or whether he happily exploited a misstep by his enemies, it was clear that the throne of Andronicus was now tottering.

The next morning half the citizenry was out in the streets calling in loud voices for the imprisonment of Andronicus and the raising oí Isaac to the imperial throne.

On that same day, Andronicus was captured on the shore of the Euxine and was brought before Isaac.
