HempMeds

HempMeds is an American company that sells hemp-based consumer products. It is a subsidiary of Medical Marijuana, Inc. and is partly owned by CannaBank. The company operates within the general hemp industry and is one of the biggest marketers and distributors of cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil (also known as CBD oil or CBD hemp oil). Their products range from nutraceuticals, cosmetics, foods, pet nutrition and other products.

Many of HempMeds' products contain naturally-occurring CBD, which is sometimes erroneously confused with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the active ingredient in marijuana. Hemp is classed as a Schedule I controlled substance according to the US Controlled Substances Act, however hemp products are legal to sell throughout the United States and most of the world. Hemp is made up of multiple cannabinoids, including CBD, and contains only trace levels of THC (in quantities far too low to produce the "high" associated with recreational marijuana).
