Hakuji

Hakuji is Japanese white porcelain originally made from a superior white-stoned clay thought to be discovered in the early 17th century at Izumiyama ( Izumi Mountain, Arita) by Korean potter Ri Sampei ( Yi Sam Pyong).

It is always plain white without colored patterns and is often seen as bowls, tea pots, cups and other Japanese tableware.
