Wikipedia Haemohormidium Haemohormidium is a genus of parasitic protozoa in the phylum Apicomplexia. They have two hosts in their life cycle: the vertebrate hosts are fish and the invertebrate vectors are leeches. Haemohormidium cotti is the type species.
