What is "habia ludoviciana"

Grosbeak \Gros"beak\, n. [Gross + beak: cf. F. gros-bec.] (Zo["o]l.) One of various species of finches having a large, stout beak. The common European grosbeak or hawfinch is Coccothraustes vulgaris.
