Gynaecophore \Gy*n[ae]"co*phore\ (j[i^]*n[=e]"k[-o]*f[=o]r), n. (Zo["o]l.) A ventral canal or groove, in which the males of some di[oe]cious trematodes carry the female. See Illust. of H[ae]matozoa.
