Guntupalem is a village in Guntur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The village has a history of 200 years. The first man to come to this village was Polisetty. He was the boss for the next generation of guntupalem village. It is from Hyderabad, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh. The route for this village from Hyderabad is via Nagarjunasagar, Macherla and Karampudi, Vinukonda and then finally Guntupalem. Another route is via Nalgonda, Miryala Guda, Piduguralla, Narasraopeta and finally Guntupalem.
The village's economy is mainly based on cultivation. The main crops are rice, minuma and pesara. Further income is from milk. This village is popular with buffalos exchange business.
