Gugu-Badhun

The Gugu-Badhun are a tribe of Indigenous Australians who traditionally lived between Charters Towers, Queensland and Lyndhurst, Queensland.

The Gugu-Badhun was one of three tribes that occupied the upper Burdigan River. The others being the Warunga and Gudjal with which it formed a lingusitic and cultural group.

They traditionally spoke the Warrongo language of the Maric sub group of the Pama-Nyungan language family. A dictionary has been published.
