Gugalanna ( Sumerian , "the Great Bull of Heaven"), better known as the Bull of Heaven (Sumerian: ), was a deity in ancient Mesopotamian religion originating in Sumer as well as the constellation known today as Taurus, one of the twelve signs of the Zodiac.
