What is "groupmuse"

A Groupmuse is a concert of classical chamber music held in someone's home, organized by the company with the same name. The company was founded in January 2013 by Sam Bodkin and currently exists in three cities across the United States: Boston (where it started), New York City and San Francisco. It is a social network website that connects musicians to people with venues willing to host music. Proceeds for the musicians are raised from donations by concert participants. The Groupmuse format is making live classical music performance more accessible to a younger audience, thereby "saving" classical music, some contend.
