Grittleton

Grittleton is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, miles northwest of Chippenham. The parish includes the hamlets of Leigh Delamere, Littleton Drew and Sevington.

Grittleton House is a country house of c. 1832 and a Grade II* listed building. Between 1951 and 2016 it was home to Grittleton House School.

The Anglican Church of All Saints at Littleton Drew is also Grade II* listed.

The village is represented in parliament by James Gray and in Wiltshire Council by Jane Scott, both Conservatives.

Catherine Stepney, novelist, was born here in 1778.
