What is "gothcon"

GothCon is an annual gaming convention held in Gothenburg, Sweden every year around Easter. Its focus lies primarily on role-playing games (pen-and-paper as well as freeform and live action), card games, board games and miniature wargames. In recent years, attendance has varied between 1 300 and 1 800 visitors each year, with the convention hosted at Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet. According to the convention organizers, GothCon is Sweden's largest and oldest gaming convention.

The most recent convention, which was the 39th since GothCon's inception in 1977, was held on March 25–27, 2016.
