Goodwall is a college-oriented social network for high school students. Formerly known as End Ignorance, Goodwall was launched on January 7, 2014 and currently holds offices in both Geneva, Switzerland and Boston, Massachusetts. As part of their Goodwall experience, students create their first online professional presence and are equipped with the right resources and knowledge to navigate their way through the college discovery process, stand out to universities on the network, win scholarships, and succeed in life. Goodwall is available as both a website and mobile app.
Users must register before using the site, after which they will create a profile, add personal achievements, follow other Goodwall users, exchange messages, explore universities, talk to college mentors, and discover inspiring opportunities to get involved with. Goodwall users receive automatic notifications when they are mentioned in posts, when others like their posts, and when they receive messages. As of April 2014, Goodwall has reached 222 countries.
