Gomarist \Go"mar*ist\, Gomarite \Go"mar*ite\, n. (Eccl.-Hist.) One of the followers of Francis Gomar or Gomarus, a Dutch disciple of Calvin in the 17th century, who strongly opposed the Arminians.
