Ghamaila
Ghamaila are a subdivision of the Kurmi caste.They are mostly found in the state of Bihar. They can be traced in Patna, Nalanda, Munger, Shekhpura, Lakhisarai, Navada, Jahanabad and gaya district.
Originally an agriculturist community, now this sub-caste of Kurmi is highly educated. There are lots of doctors, engineers, IAS, IPS, academicians and officers from this caste.
