Genelec is a manufacturer of active loudspeaker systems based in Iisalmi, Finland. It designs and produces products especially for professional studio recording, mixing and mastering applications, broadcast, and movie production. M.Sc. (Tech.) Ilpo Martikainen founded the company in 1978.
