Geisel (river)
Geisel is a river of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is a tributary of the Saale River. The source of the Geisel, the Geiselquell, is located in the village of Sankt Micheln just west of Mücheln (Geiseltal). The Geisel flows east through Geiseltal, or Geisel valley, until it joins briefly with the Klia under the Vor den Klausentor Bridge in Merseberg just before emptying into the Saale River.
