Gatauli is an Indian village in the district of Jind in Haryana. There are 7600 voters in Gatauli. In this village have seven pounds The Jat clans in the village are Dhanda, Chahal, Malik and Singhmar. Gatauli lies on Jind-Rohtak road (NH-71) with a distance of 17.4 km from Jind City. The major occupation is agriculture. A Canal named as "Sundar Branch" flows between village Gatauli and its neighbouring village Shamlo Kalan, dividing the boundaries between the sister villages and also giving plenty of irrigational water to both the villages. There are many great achievers in this village. Many year ago Gatauli named as Rangi's Gatauli. Sh. Rangi Ram Malik was a popular, richest and very kind heart person in Gatauli. Sh. Rangi Ram Malik had two son named was Sh. Dalip Singh Malik and Sh. Dharam Singh Malik .Their sons were also respected and popular in village. Main personalities are Sh. Sandeep Kumar Malik HPS, Sh. Kulbir singh Ex. minister and MLA.Mr.Kitab Singh Dhanda is the first HCS officer from the village.He was selected as Employment officer. Mr.Mahavir Sharma who hails from this village & presently settled at. Sonipat is the first Person to become SDO in Irrigation Deptt. Hr.Similarly his younger son Dr. Neeraj Kaushik became 1st person from the Distt. to be appointed as Visitor Professor at IIM/ Rohtak, Noida & presently working as Associate Professor at NIT Kurukshetra,a matter of pride for all the villagers. This family has established a trust in the name of their veteran Sh. Hari Pushap Acharya,a great Sanskrit Scholar & helping the poor & deserving Children in getting good education. Ms Pooja Jangra Daughter of Sh. Mahavir Singh Jangra who hails from this village & presently settled in Delhi is the first ISS officer (Indian Statistical Services) from the village, it is also a matter of pride for girls of the village and all the villagers.Mr Anuj Kaushik S/O Sh Vishnu Dutt Shastri has been appointed as Central Excise & Taxation Inspector at Mumbai.
