Gaption

Gaption is a Social networking platform that enables people to monetize their content, products, and social networking activities. Dubbed the Social Network for Content Creators, Gaption allows its users to generate revenues from their content via paid subscriptions and donations in the form of in-app gift purchases. Gaption also shares revenues generated with active users in the form of royalties via a seamless and automated fashion. Founded by Kenneth Ho, Benjamin Tan, and Wallace Ho, Gaption was built with the intention of helping people to turn their passions into financially sustainable endeavours in a fun and interactive manner.

Like many other social networking platforms, users may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, exchange chat messages, post updates photos/videos, and receive notifications when others update their profiles or publish new content. Gaption also infuses elements of E-commerce, virtual assistant services, and peer-to-peer payments within its platform. The features provided in the platform closely resemble a hybrid integration of Facebook, Twitch.tv, and Amazon.

Gaption is available as a free service on The Web, iOS, and Android. A vast majority of users on Gaption originate from USA, Europe, South East Asia, and Brazil. To date, Gaption has successfully raised its first round of funding from Cradle Fund.
