Gallinae
Gallinae \Gal*li"nae\, n.; pl. [NL., fr. L. gallina a hen, gallus a cock.] (Zo["o]l.) An order of birds, including the common domestic fowls, pheasants, grouse, quails, and allied forms; -- sometimes called {Rasores}.
