Galeopithecus \Ga`le*o*pi*the"cus\ (g[=a]`l[-e]*[-o]*p[i^]*th[=e]"k[u^]s), n. [NL., fr. Gr. gale`h a weasel + pi`qhkos an ape.] (Zo["o]l.) A genus of flying Insectivora, formerly called flying lemurs. See Colugo.
