G.O.A.T is an acronym, generally used to describe sports figures. The meaning of the acronym is Greatest Of All Time. The term was first made famous by heavyweight boxer, Muhammad Ali, when he referred to himself as the Greatest Of All Time, after defeating the heavily favored Sonny Liston in 1964. It is currently often used to refer to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is regarded by many fans and analysts of the sport as the greatest quarterback in NFL history.
