What is "fxtv"

Fxtv is a program that allows a person to watch and record television through a PC with a Brooktree 848 compatible TV tuner via the bktr(4) driver. Fxtv works on Unix-like operating systems, and is licensed under the GPL.

It does not favour any particular desktop environment. It works using the XImage or the accelerated feature (DGA). The interface to Fxtv is minimalistic.
