Fustet

fustetus, fr. L. fustis stick, in LL., tree, See 1st Fust,
and cf. Fustic.]
The wood of the Rhus Cotinus or Venice sumach, a shrub of
Southern Europe, which yields a fine orange color, which,
however, is not durable without a mordant.
