Furrah is a village in anantnag tehsil in Anantnag district in the Indian state of jammu and kashmir. it's a very big village nearly 1500 households has lead this village big , The railway line is passing inside the village where the two nearest railway station is "Sadura" & Main "Anantnag"station , which charms the beauty of tThehis village, despite the economic factor outcomes of village is agriculture, bcoz agriculture is the main economy in this village ,therefore this village is called "Greese Furrah" & other part of this village is "PIR Furrah". The inhabitants of this village is very kind hearted & polite, even literacy rate is very quite good bt the unemployment ratio is going increased day by day.bt unfortunately I would say one main thing here,the development question remains zero ,not any kind of development from past one decade. Main roads were damaged as well as lanes.no progress has been made yet to fulfill the needs of the villagers, in fact This village is just few kilometers away from the main town Anantnag, but alas we are totally ignored by the ministers from our constituency Devsar. bt we hope for the goodness
