also free-style, 1912, in swimming, in reference to a distance race in which the swimmers may use whatever stroke they choose; 1950 in general use, from free + style. The most common stroke is the front crawl, as this is generally the fastest. As an adjective, from 1957; as a verb, by 1970 (in martial arts).

FreeStyle is a no-cost design show on HGTV (Home and Garden Television) where interior decorators and designers de-clutter, reorganize and move furniture and accessories around in a room, to give homeowners a dramatic new look without spending a dime! The series was originally hosted by Aaron Foster, but new episodes now feature Evan Farmer as the host. Designers featured regularly on the show include: Evette Rios, Kelley Hundahl, Kahi Lee, Taniya Nayak and Amanda Miller.

Freestyle (roller coaster)

Freestyle is a stand-up roller coaster operating at Cavallino Matto in Tuscany, Italy. It opened as the park's fifth roller coaster on 18 July 2015. Freestyle originally opened at Canada's Wonderland in 1985 as SkyRider and closed in 2014. Built by TOGO, it was the second stand-up roller coaster from the company following the now-defunct King Cobra, which opened the previous year at Kings Island.

On August 6, 2014, Canada's Wonderland announced that the ride would close permanently on September 1, 2014. The coaster accommodated nearly 23 million guests during its lifespan. In the Fall of 2014, SkyRider was sold, dismantled and relocated overseas to Cavallino Matto. It was reassembled and opened in 2015 as Freestyle.

Freestyle (radio program)

Freestyle was a radio program on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Radio One network, which aired from 2005 to 2007. For the first year, the program's hosts were Cameron Phillips and Kelly Ryan; in December 2006, Ryan left the program and was replaced by Marsha Lederman.

Freestyle combined contemporary music with generally irreverent stories from Canada and the rest of the world. The show also featured regular commentators including "music guy" Daniel Levitin and book reviewer Sara O'Leary. It first aired on November 9, 2005, replacing The Roundup. The show was, however, criticized by some CBC Radio listeners who claimed that it followed a format more common to commercial radio than to the traditional CBC Radio One style.

Freestyle had its final broadcast on April 13, 2007, and was replaced on the CBC Radio One schedule by Q.

It was written Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Shane McAnally, and co-produded by Nathan Chapman. Freestyle (Swedish band)

Freestyle was a short lived Swedish electronic music group active in the early 1980s. The original line-up consisted of Tommy Ekman, Christer Sandelin, Gigi Hamilton, Joakim Hagleitner, Anders Uddberg and Kayo Shekoni, but Kayo left the group with the release of the fourth single Vill ha dej and was replaced by Diane Corinne Söderholm, a half-sister of Rita Marley. The most notable hits of the group include " Vill ha dej", "Fantasi", "Ögon som glittrar" and "Rider omkring". "Vill ha dej" (also spelled "Vill ha dig") did stay on top of the list for 5 consecutive weeks and was covered by Swedish solo project Drömhus in 1998. Freestyle disbanded in 1983 with Ekman, Sandelin and Hamilton continuing as Style. Söderholm formed DaYeene with her sister Jeanette. Freestyle reformed for the Summer of 1998 to re-record "Fantasi" and "Ögon Som Glittrar" and to release a new compilation album. "Fantasi" became a huge hit once again and Freestyle made a one-off concert in Stockholm.

Freestyle is a free, open source renderer for non-photorealistic line drawing from 3D scenes.

The program uses a shader script model inspired by the RenderMan Shading Language, allowing different shading styles to be written as a script that's interpreted at the render time. The different rendering styles are based on "style modules" that are written in Python programming language.

The stand-alone program, which uses OpenGL and the Qt widget toolkit, can render images based on .3ds files. The stand-alone version of Freestyle is not under active development any more, since 2008.

Freestyle is an art collection by Japanese artist Satoshi Ohno. Freestyle was released in 2008 and exhibits Ohno's works, created before he had entered Johnny & Associates, Inc. Freestyle includes paintings, clay models, photographs, big objects d'art, and more. It was bought for about 200,000. Also, Freestyle is an art exhibition that took place in Tokyo in February 2008. It was synthetically produced by Satoshi Ohno. There were about 100 small figures and 20 paintings that were inserted in the photograph collection, a big, golden objet d'art which was modeled after the artist's face, a robot, and a chair made of rubbish. In May, it changed its name to "Freestyle All Around Japan". The exhibition traveled to Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Sapporo and Fukuoka, all in Japan.
