Formicola is a comune ( municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about north of Naples and about northwest of Caserta.
Formicola borders the following municipalities: Camigliano, Giano Vetusto, Pietramelara, Pontelatone, Roccaromana, and Rocchetta e Croce.
