What is "follingbo"

Follingbo is a settlement on the Swedish island of Gotland. Formerly a socken, On 1January 2016, it was reconstituted into the administrative area Follingbo District.

The most distinguishing feature in Follingbo is the high Follingbo transmitter. It became operational on 24December 1959, and has since then been used for broadcasting television and radio to all of Gotland.
