Flower-fence
Flower-fence \Flow"er-fence`\, n. (Bot.)
A tropical leguminous bush ( Poinciana pulcherrima, or
C[ae]salpinia, pulcherrima) with prickly branches, and
showy yellow or red flowers; -- so named from its having been
sometimes used for hedges in the West Indies.
