Floccillation \Floc`cil*la"tion\, n. [L. floccus a flock of
wool. Cf. Flock of wool.] (Med.)
A delirious picking of bedclothes by a sick person, as if to
pick off flocks of wool; carphology; -- an alarming symptom
in acute diseases.
